It’s the time of year where we show love, that is, the period of Valentine’s. However, as Christians, we should know that love is not an emotion but a challenge. This year we affirmed our commitment in Operation 1 Soul 2025 to witnessing and discipling at least one soul. What is a better time than now to take the first step?
Love is something that one gives out. In John 3:16 in the Bible, we learn that God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. This Valentine’s, let’s go a step further and share the love we have with people outside our circle of friends. Mostly the aforementioned person to whom you are ministering or even the one you are yet to reach. A simple act of thoughtfulness, a gift, a good wish, or even sharing a meal can deepen connection and can lead to transformation.
