Meet them here

Deborah Bavelloni

g

She is serving in France among the Arabs. She was home some months back.   She visited the office and one of the things she requested is that they would be happy to see people come to do prayer walk in the field they are working in. She said it will help break the spiritual power over the people down and go a long way in making the people come to the knowledge of the Savior.

Yusuf Bature

gI saw him when we went to conduct medical outreach in one of the fields he is overseeing. I got to know that Christian Broadcasting Network is also supporting him. I have one thing against him. He has not seen the need to be sending his reports. That was the reason the organisation wanted to drop him last year. He gave the testimony of how God fought for them at Chakumi and he was asked to write it and that happens to be the only report. The missionary under him said he sends his report to him but I have seen only one.

Pastor Sunday Sokoto

gIt was in his field Baribari that we had the medical/film outreaches. The outreaches we had in his field helped a great deal. Many people were brought to his church including muslims. His church is mostly made up of youths because as he said he is not married yet. The outreach made some adults to join the church including married and unmarried. The connecting road to the town is across the Gurara River. The boat used in ferrying me across is so small that it tilts sideways and makes you think it’s about capsizing into the river. He needs a life jacket.

Evangelist Samuel Ojewole

gEvang Ojewole is doing well. He has disciples who have taken over the morning cry he used to do in the village. One man testified that he was brewing local gin before but the preaching of the evangelist made him repent and stop brewing, drinking and selling the gin. The evangelist seems to be a voice in that area, that other Christians listen to. Some young men also surrendered their charms to be destroyed by the evangelist and the young men are now members of the church learning the rudiments of the Christian faith. The evangelist has some challenges now. First he is presently suffering from hepatitis B. His building is yet to be completed. He said he is no more happy working with World Hope Ministries. He said he has discussed it with the leadership but there seems to be a hitch on what to do with the church in Fada mission field. He said God told him to leave the ministry that brought him there but not the field.

Joshua Christopher Danfulani

gI went to Aburon to see Joshua Danfulani. He is doing a great work there. The ministry he is working with built a primary school and the children have left the government school to come to the one they built. Teachers sent to the government school do not come. They have employed three teachers who are also teaching there. I was impressed that getting to such a remote area children greeted me in English language and answered my questions correctly. Though Joshua and wife are not educated they passed on to their children what they have.

Mrs Bunmi Omoniyi

gI was at Ntoji in Abeokuta to see her. She has many converts but scattered all over the village. Her husband bought her a motorcycle but she has not learnt how to ride it. Her church is by the roadside surrounded by bushes. It’s just a roof on a piece of land. She said they have vigils there. By my assessment it is not safe. A snake could crawl in from any side unnoticed since they use kerosene lamps. I suggest a small generator be bought for them. Moreover they have a house called the clinic but nobody or drug is there. When someone gets ill they will call the person in charge on phone and that depends to a great extent when there is network around the area.

Pastor Salvation Daluk

gSalvation works in Duma field in Niger State. He has established two churches within seven years he started working there. Something worthy of note is that since he went there nobody supported him until sometime this year when Greenfield World Mission International started supporting him. He has always supported himself all along with the products from his farm. He has made some converts from Duma and Bwatcha. Both fields have church buildings. This field will be good for medical mission outreach. Not only will they get good drugs but it will help bring more people into the kingdom.  The people who sell drugs there sell expired drugs which do not cure but worsens the situation.
